Hi, my name is Ashlynn. I’m a New England native, currently exploring Nashville with my husband, Ryan, who also serves as my resident food critic and taste tester. I love to cook, bake, and explore the outdoors, always with a cup of coffee in hand.

I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with my master’s in speech-language pathology. Going to college in beautiful but rural Alabama, I had the incredible experience of getting my hands on lots of local ingredients and fell in love with creating simple and delicious meals. After college, Ryan and I moved back to Boston, where a new job and city-living took over most of my free time (if you haven’t explored Boston, add it to your list now and thank me later).

Since moving to Nashville, I’ve spent more time cooking and baking and wanted a creative outlet to document my culinary adventures in all things delicious, hence, this blog. Here you’ll find a range of recipes, although you may notice a trend towards breakfast-themed delights. As the great Ron Swanson once said, "there has never been a sadness that cannot be cured by breakfast food." Amen to that.
